Basement Remodeling

Have a basement that you want finished? We are not in the “slap up a few walls” mindset for basements. We believe in building something that will last the life of the house, not fall apart just before you want to sell. This means that we take several extra steps.

Seal the foundation walls. Even if they have never visibly leaked, moisture is constantly seeping through. We then cover all foundation walls with a rigid foam insulation that is sealed to keep moisture from moving into fiberglass insulation or drywall. Many basements have “that basement smell”. The smell is a type of mold, not particularly healthy, and easily prevented by taking these steps. We do not believe in cutting corners. This is an investment of your money and it needs to remain at its peak to be able to get your money, and potentially a profit, back out at resale.
